Appearance
Tank
A vessel-shaped analog level indicator.
In Studio
In Studio, double-click Tank in the Process category of the Components panel. It is added to the open view, where you can drag it into place.
When to use
Use Tank for a level reading where the vessel shape itself is meaningful context, rather than an abstract bar (Progress Bar) or dial (Gauge).
Properties
| Property | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Value | String | (none) | The bound level value. |
| Symbol Type | simple, pnid | simple | The drawing variant: simple (vessel with the reading and scale inside) or pnid (a plain vessel whose outline is the component's box, so pipes meet its walls; no text inside — put the reading beside it as a value display). |
| Label | String | Tank | The caption shown below the vessel. |
| Show Caption | true, false | true | Shows or hides the caption under the vessel. Off also gives that height back to the drawing. |
| Show Scale | true, false | true | Shows or hides the scale tick marks (and, for simple, their numbers and the min/max labels). |
| Min | Number | 0 | The value at an empty vessel. |
| Max | Number | 100 | The value at a full vessel. |
| Unit | String | % | The unit text shown under the numeric readout. |
| Fill Color | Color | #4A6B8A | The fill color for the liquid. Defaults to the HMI palette's analog fill token (a muted blue), not a state color. |
| Show Agitator | true, false | false | Draws a top-mounted agitator (motor, shaft, impeller) in the vessel, in both symbol types: with pnid it is line art like the other P&ID symbols, the drive sitting on the vessel outline. Off by default; the vessel top moves down to make room and nothing else changes. |
| Agitator State | String | (none) | The agitator run state, bound separately from Value. Maps to Off, On, Fault or Unknown like Pump. Only used when Show Agitator is on. |
| Animate | true, false | true | When true and the agitator is On, the impeller turns and the motor fan spins; when false, the agitator is drawn static. |
Binding
Click Bind… on the Value property and bind it to a tag or an expression to drive the live value.
This binding is read-only — the component never writes to the tag.
