Appearance
Progress Bar
A horizontal bar that fills to show where a value sits between a minimum and a maximum.
In Studio
In Studio, double-click Progress Bar in the Components category of the Components panel. It is added to the open view, where you can drag it into place.
When to use
Use Progress Bar for a level or completion reading with a fixed range — a fill percentage, a batch progress, a deviation from a setpoint (with Fill From set to Center).
Properties
| Property | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Value | String | (none) | The bound process value driving the fill. |
| Label | String | Level | The caption shown above the bar. Ignored entirely when Show Value is false. |
| Min | Number | 0 | The value that anchors an empty bar (or, with Fill From set to Center, the low end of the range shown below the bar). |
| Max | Number | 100 | The value that anchors a full bar (or the high end of the range shown below the bar). |
| Unit | String | % | The unit text appended after the numeric readout, e.g. %. |
| Fill Color | Color | #4A6B8A | The fill color. Not an HMI-palette state color — pick any color that reads clearly against the track. |
| Show Value | true, false | true | False renders a bare track-and-fill only, filling the whole component box with no caption, readout, or min/max labels — for overlaying your own markers. True (default) adds the label, numeric readout and min/max captions. |
| Fill From | start, center | start | start (default) fills from Min toward the value. center anchors the fill at the range midpoint and grows toward the value in either direction — for a deviation bar where the reading is "how far from target, which way." |
Binding
Click Bind… on the Value property and bind it to a tag or an expression to drive the live value.
This binding is read-only — the component never writes to the tag.
Animation
The fill eases over 0.4s when the value changes, rather than jumping instantly — scan-driven values that arrive in roughly one-second steps would otherwise read as jitter.
