Appearance
Embedded View
Renders another screen inline, scaled to fit the component's box.
In Studio
In Studio, double-click Embedded View in the Components category of the Components panel. It is added to the open view, where you can drag it into place.
When to use
Use Embedded View to reuse a screen as a component — a shared header, a faceplate, a repeated sub-panel — inside a larger screen.
Properties
| Property | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| View | String | (none) | The name of the screen to embed. |
| Params (JSON) | String | {} | A JSON object of parameter values passed into the embedded screen, available there as view parameters. |
| Scale Mode | auto, fit, fill, stretch, none | auto | auto (default) picks scaling based on the target screen's own root container: a flex/tab root reflows to fill the box, a coordinate root scales per its own view-mode settings. fit scales uniformly so the whole screen is visible (letterboxed). fill scales uniformly to fill the box (cropped). stretch scales non-uniformly to exactly fill the box. none renders at native size, clipped. |
Binding
This component has no single value binding.
No value binding — Params can be bound to pass live values into the embedded screen.
